The Grenfell Tower Tragedy - Our Story

Pastor Derrick Wilson of Tabernacle Christian Centre shares on the church's experience in offering support and standing with Grenfell survivors. The local community and people from near and far gave of themselves, time and donations for the survivors. The response was, to be honest overwhelming for this small local church.

This touching and moving video details the magnitude of the response to help and how the church managed to organise themselves to be of service to the survivors. It is great to see how a community came together in a time of great difficulty, showing love, support and care.

Thank you - we will never forget.

Grenfell Survivors Christmas Banquet

We put on a banquet for the Grenfell survivors.

On the first Christmas after Grenfell Tabernacle Christian Centre put on a lovely banquet for a large number of the survivors from Grenfell Tower. The church was mindful that this being the first Christmas since Grenfell and with many of the survivors still in hotels we wanted to do something special for them.

We would like to thank everybody involved, the volunteers, the companies who gave many donations and all who helped to make this evening possible, it was a great evening.

Grenfell Fire Dedication Poem

Volunteers from our church held a fundraising at the Crowndale in Camden for the survivors. This a moving poem that lists all the names of the those sadly lost in the Grenfell tragedy. This beautiful poem speaks to their value and worth as being equal to anybody else.

They may be gone, but they are certainly not forgotten.
